Key stuck in ignition...again!?!

I have a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo. Haven't had alot of problems with it. Last month, key got stuck in the ignition. Could turn key to start, etc but couldn't get it to go past that last click after turning car off to get key out. Got ignition replaced and mechanic installed a Honda Passport Ignition. Today the honda key is stuck in the honda ignition!?!?! I can turn car off and on but key won't come out. Have tried things like jiggling steering wheel, slamming car in park, etc and nothing works. This is very frustrating! Currently leaving key in ignition when car is off and manually locking car and using extra key to enter car each time. Any suggestions?
