I need help in replacing the front door speakers. This car has concert sound with two speakers in each front door. Can anyone give instructions on how to access them and replace them. Any particular Speaker brand and model would be helpful. Thanks a bunch.

Had to replace one of my front speakers before. I believe it went bad from me pushing the door open with my feet were the speakers were. I replace mine with a junkyard speaker so I can't give details on what are some good speakers. I do know that the main speaker and the tweeter speaker are wired together so you might have to do some splicing and wire cutting.

To get to the speaker you have to pry the doorlock/window switch out and remove the two screws. Then you have to pry out the light on the side of the door and remove the screws. Then you can take the door off. But be careful when taking the door panel off I broke some connecters.Also be careful when taking of the door lock switch. I broke the clip to keep it inside the door panel and it took me about a year and a half to find another one
