Grounding Wire Kit 2.2l

Does anythong know the wiring steps for a 2.2 cavalier for installing a grounding kit? Better yet some photos so I can get an idea. I read on here from another post on this subject but it was for a PT Cruiser I beleive and the setup was diffrent.

and depends on how many wires you get with the kit.

It's a 5 wire grounding kit and the photos for that link still aren't showing up.I tried to click on them earlier when I did a search for this topic and they didn't show up then.

I don't know how much this "kit" is, but you'd probably be better off buying your own wire and connectors and doing it that way. For the best grounds, simply remove every ground you can and cut the loop off where the screw goes through and solder (use heat shrink tubing, don't just tape it) a new section of wire to that and run it directly to the battery ground. What I like to do is start with the same wire size as the first (furthest from battery) ground and increase the size of the main wire each time I splice a wire in. Get the heat shrink tubing that has two layers or you won't get a good seal with more than two wires. It's hard to tell in my drawing, but the wires that come from the bottom that aren't connected to anything are the ends of the wire you cut the ground connector off of, then add wire of that size to get that wire to the next ground, and twist those two wires in from one way and the next (larger) wire from the other way and solder/heatshrink and just continue on like that. It's easier than I'm making it sound...

After thinking about it a bit more, this grounding kit probably just bolts on the engine at various points (since you said 5 wire... should be more grounds than that just on the block) in an attempt to have fewer millivolts droped across the wires... but the resistance on the grounds is in the connections on the block, so just giving more points of transfer won't help any more than just cleaning the big ground cable.

I'll be doing this on my car once the weather warms up... I'll take some pictures when I do.

If you do this wrong, you can screw stuff up on your car.. .just be careful.
