01 Cavalier - Wipers don't stop, looking for help!

Hey everyone!
Just stumbled across AF trying to find a solution to my problem, hopefully someone's got some insight.
I've got an intermittent problem with my wipers where once I turn them on, even after I set the switch to "OFF", the wipers keep on going.
They appear to "stutter" when they get to their home position, but then just keep going.
Once they get going the following happens:
1. If I set them to HIGH, they speed up as expected
2. If I set them to LOW, they slow down as expected
3. If I set them to DELAY, the wipers don't delay, once they return home, they briefly "stutter", then just keep going, it's VERY similar to the LOW setting.
4. If I set them to OFF, I get the same behaviour as I get with DELAY, where the wipers briefly stutter but keep going.
5. Washer fluid works as expected but then the wipers keep on going.
6. Eventually (time varies) if I keep the switch at OFF, they'll stop.
The above behaviour is intermittent, sometimes they work fine, but if I keep them on (ie with delay), it'll eventually stop delaying and I get the above symptoms.
I'm thinking it's an electrical problem, but any suggestions on what I should look at first would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the park switch in the wiper motor is sticking

If that's the case, is there anything I could short of replacing the wiper motor?
