mach 1000 sound system

My 03 gt has the mach 1000 sound system and it hits hard like the speakers are amped liked they are suppose to be. But my friends we're telling me the mach 1000 sound system is suppose to have an amp rack in the trunk and thats where my amps should be I don't have that rack and I don't know where my amps are. Was there maybe a secondary set up where the amps were put somewhere else? Is there anywhere I can buy that amp rack?
