Brake pedal ABS pulsation while moving slow

I have a 2002 Avalanche which displays a brake pedal pulsation intermittently when I'm moving very slow (stop in go traffic). Side note -We replaced both front wheel bearing assemblies in the last 3 months. Do we by chance need to clear or reset the computer for the ABS system based on replacing the failed front axle bearings abs sensors?

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide

Abs codes clear there self after ign off and on if no problems?
Is the ABS light coming on?
To find the problem it needs to be put on a ABS capable scanner and all speed sensor reading checked and check for abs code.
Always check for codes right it does it and before turning ign off.
If any codes post back code no.
Good Luck

OBD11 will not pull abs codes.
Needs the abs capable cartiage.

Thank you for the information. I'm looking at several of the MT2500 programable VCI and TSI cartridges to get updated from my current domestic 2001 and gerenic cartridges. I have a couple questions on the programable cartridges.
1) what should I look for or ask for to get the most current 2008 version programming?
2) Do the programable cartridges cover trans and ABS or are they still separate?

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you are buying used one.
Ask for the lastest 3 in 1 import/domestic cartiage.
Snapon quit up dating the cartiages for the MT-2500.:frown:
2004 is about the latest update they done.

Snap on has switched over to the Solas or Modis scanners.
Solas pro is a good one.
Over 3 grand but they are taking the MT-2500 on trade in.
I got 500 off for one of my 25 year old MT-2500's on trade in.

There was a recall for this issue. It is the ABS wheel speed sensor. You can take them off and clean them and the problem should go away. Mine did it too, and I found out about the recall - so I took it in to dealer, and after a little convincing (I had a copy of the recall notice) they agreed to fix free of charge. The problem has never returned, and this has been a couple of years ago. Also a recall on the tailgate cables. That ABS thing can get you in trouble if you are going slow and close to the vehicle in front of you.

The early Solas scan tools had one problem, very slow start up.I know a transmission shop that has one that does this. The modis is the top of the line and my father has one that he bought about $7,000.00 which was a repo. The guy whom owned died of radition poisoning while working one two cars from Russia which were contaminated with radation. The guy made 3 payments on it and the dealer had a heck of a time getting it back.Watch out when you check any on Ebay, ask for the serial number and some do not respond.I did it on two of them and they asked: What serial number? These two were hot or Snap On Credit is looking for them.

All I hear results from the recall are comebacks,it comes back and GM should of replaced the wheel bearings instead cleaning the sensors.
