We have a 03 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that we just changed the ICV on because after it would warm up it dies at intersections. Now it shutter quite a bit a dies in reverse. We took it to a transmission place and no codes come up. Anyone know what it could be?:crying:

Welcome to the forum!

If you are also experiencing the stutter when warm, I'd suggest you carefully inspect the vacuum lines under the hood as well as the intake manifold gaskets. If you have access to a scan tool, monitoring the Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) and Short Term FT (STFT) values could help you identify if it's likely a vacuum issue or more likely an ignition issue (lack of consistent spark).

I'd also suggest you check the age of the battery. Modern vehicles rely quite heavily on a strong electrical system and a weak battery can cause stalling, even if the battery and charging system test fine.

Finally, I'll also request that you follow up with a post when you find the issue. As you have probably already identified, forums can be much more useful when folks respond with what they found to fix their issue.
