Right mirror is kinda hangin by the cord. Ordered a new one since the plastic pieces are broken. Question is, how do I detach the cable from the mirror to use with my new one?

That is all :D

You have to take the door panel off and there is a connector inside you can undo. There are 3 screws holding the door panels on. 1 right under the armrest part that you can see, 1 behind the reflector, and 1 behind the door handle trim piece that you need to remove first. After that it should just snap off. start at the bottom and work your way around.

You can get to the plug for the mirror with out removing the door panel. If the plug is mounted as its suposed to be to the door. :uhoh:

With a long screwdriver you can reach inside the top of the DP and unplug it, just a lite clip holding it in.
Then just pock the new wire plug in place and push it in with the screw driver. :2cents:

IMO it would be more trouble then worth cutting these wires.
The plug is like 1.5-2 inches below the door panel, easy to get with out to much bloos sweat and tears. :2cents:

If my car was done like that, cutting off the plugs I would be real ticked off.

If some one found out that this is being done welcome to a law suit. That is one of the reasons why I try to do as much as I can when it comes to making repairs on my cars.
