I'm looking at buying Crower rods and JE pistons (9:1 cr for turbo) but the pistons they have say to use a rod length of 5.630. So the rods they have for my (future) car are a length from center to center are 5.636. if i get the Titanium retainers that are an additional .60 taller than usual, that would work, right? Or do i not even know what im talking about?

if you dont know by your self you shouldn't be building the engine yourself. talk to an engine builder.

if the rods you have are 5.636 and the suggested size is only 5.630, its already to tall for your setup, add on that your .60 tit retainers and you are looking at 6.236, which is well above there suggestion, so you may need to find a different route.
