Painting Dashboard

I'm changing the interior colors of my 89 c1500, and part of that entails painting the dash. My plan is to completely disassemble the dash, thoroughly clean and replace parts where its needed, and paint them Krylon Fusion or Duplicolor Vinyl & Fabric.

Have any of you attempted this or something similar? Do you know how difficult or time consuming it will be? Tips/suggestions?
