Air Bag Light On...

Besides the oil leak (another post), my 1999 Plymouth Voyager had the AIR BAG light come on and has stayed on. At the same time the horn and cruise control stopped working. The turn signals, wipers and high beams still work.

I did disconnect the battery for 24 hrs, hoping that it would reset, but no go.

What is my issue, how much should it cost me?

Because I am in Texas, I have to have it fixed of junk the vehicle because of state safety inspections, otherwise I wouldn't worry about it and just buckle up.

Stand down.... I found that this is likely a clockspring failure and that there is a lifetime recall on the item to be repaired at no cost to me. This make me :grinyes:

Clockspring in the steering wheel. Call dealer to see if it is under warranty. They should be able to tell you by your vin number.

It was the clockspring recall item, it cost me $0.00 to have it fixed.
