2004 silverado z71,4wd selector switch in dash,lights dont work to indicate 2 or 4wd,any ideas,replaced selector switch,same problem,thanks

does the vehicle go into 4wd ? these are the indicator lights.

look for pinouts or bad connections to the transfer case control module. If I remember right it is up under the dash about center of the truck. It is not very big at all, think like 1/4 or less the size of the ecm.

sorry, edit doesn't seem to work for me. Check for 12v to the module, also check for ground. If no lights at all you don't have power or ground to the module, or the module itself might be bad...

no,alll fuses check good.
so your problem is no 4x4...you are now in 2wd...and the select switch lamps don't light /flash...
check all connections connectors ,,,the ATC control module is behind the headlight switch...check the ground connection here also...
with a meter check for ATC fuse 20A /ATC fuse 2 20A to be good and voltage..
if you cannot find anything it is best to get the DTC for the drive train this means you will need a code scanner that can read THESE codes not ALL do...
report how you made out...
