Hi,
OK this is a good one. When the car is cold the transmissions shifts OK. When it gets hot it does not go into second gear. Does this mean the tranny has had it?

On ocassion, mine will go from the 1-2 shift ok, but the 2-3 shift goes into neutral and then will go into gear... I think it is a sticking solenoid or a bad sensor...let me know about yours...

There is a misfire in the car which I found to be number 7 cylinder. There is a bad spark plug wire. This could cause the tranmission issue. I am going to fix that and then take it form there.
