I buy cars using Ebay and fix them up. Do some mechanical work, paint job, etc.. Recently it seems that Ebay's auto section has less and less deals. Can anyone tell me of a good auction site? I found this goverment auction site and was thinking of joining ad link removed by Moderator but was just wondering if it was any good or if there is something better out there. There is an auction by my house but you need a dealer liscence and I have heard that the deals aren't that great anyway. Any advice would help??

Thanks

Your funny, no wonder the moderator removed the link, he's a sharp cookie when it comes to someone trying to pull the wool over once's eye's

(1) Ebay's auto section has less and less deals. Please there are enough crap cars on Ebay to keep you busy till the day you go out to pasture

(2) I found this goverment auction site. that's great finding something from memory loss, alzheimer's disease at your ripe age 36, I wish you well.

Observations, this site AF, is well organized and will build into the future with solid questions and answers, unlike yahoo answers which is a joke.

PS... I have answered over 2000 questions in yahoo before finding this site to answer real questions being screened by moderators to provide quality answers, something that is a total joke if you post a questions in the Q & A yahoo automotive forum

Most auctions today are for dealers only. I am a dealer and what you said is right, the deals are not that good. I have had better luck with buying police cars from the government because everyone thinks that they are trash and don't bid much for them but they are great cars and easy to fix up. Sorry but I can't tell you where I buy though because I don't need more competition these days. Also, watch out because though you are probably being careful it is illegal to sell automobiles with intent of making a profit without a license.

I hope this isn't thought of as an ad link, but I know of another auction site. http://www.cuauctions.com They auction off repossessed vehicles from Credit Unions.

The deals can be REALLY good ... to not so good.

My apologies, if this is considered an "ad link" ... it wasn't intended that way ... just trying to answer the question.

Hey " Driver Mike . I like to think your link is not an ad link for personal gain, but the final card the moderator holds, he is very good with years of experience reading into new posts and will make the right decision.

I really would like to pick on your thoughts here a little. What makes you think the link you provided stands out from all the other links that offer auction sites ???

Don't say from Credit Unions only, there is no such auction that I know off ??? " hey I am not perfect " prove me wrong.
