My car (1998 lumina) did not pass inspection due to crankshaft position sensor and evap system...is that an expensive repair...is it worth it to have it fixed

your car has 2 crank position sensors, one in the back of the block, the other behind the harmonic balancer. Neither are that major to change nor are they very expensive.
Do you happen to have the OBD-II codes that they found that caused you to fail? If so, please post here, as the evap system problem could be something simple like a bad/loose gas cap or something more sinister/expensive.
