Is your Civic a 6th generation? If your Civic is a 4th generation your are without a doubt going to be doing custom body work.

Generations is the year your car was made. (i.e. 4th generation civic is 88-91) then when the body style changes it is another generation.

Seeing that those lights are way bigger than ours (4th gen) yes you will need some body work.

They are not extremely bigger but they are bigger. Then they look like they are not the same length as ours. I was looking into that look because I wanted mine to be red and white. This guy right here used the aftermarket clear ones for our car and painted them. So thats the route that I am leaning toward.

I stay around the corner from Nopi and they told me $177 for the clear ones. From there I am going to get them painted, if I cant paint them myself. Oh and I am a chick not a dude ;)

you can get a set of used clears for about 100 bucks, new will run about 160-200 dollars, and just use TESTORS RED TRANSPARENT PAINT. You can buy this at a hobby store, or even Wal-Mart (in the toy/model car section).

An easy wayto tell if these kinda of things will fit go look at yours. In this case go look at your taillights. Do the ones in the pic look remotely close? No, they don't. So common sense says it won't fit. You have just arrived at your answer. Go take a break, drink something and enjoy yourself.

- no less than $1000 if you get some people to do it, but if you know how to work with fiber glass, sanding, making brackets, bondo, ( really not that hard, mostly common sense and direction following ) you can do it yourself really cheap. Just make sure you know exactly what youre doing. I think the biggest thing to do in THIS particular project, is get the correct height and depth dimensions of new tail lights.. make some custom brackets, because the back of the 2 dif. tail lights most likely have dif. bolting positions, and drill, position, fiber glass in.
= heres some of my bracket pix of my prelude project currently in progress - ( not great pix , dont roast on me :( )
 images are too large.. so just chek it out here :bloated:

perdy clean headlights - ~!
i'm doing alot of custom stuff.. its only my first car too. But these civics are soo fun to mess with. I am just going with my Type JDM Projector Headlights, gonna mold em in after my Lude tails are finished. I'll have that in my projects page too :)

el loco since this thread started off with "would these fit" i assumed that the person starting the thread knows nothing about custom fabrication of tail lights. so i than said it would cost 1000 or more to have them done. because anybody who asks of theres tails would fit clearly has no clue about custom fiberglass (no offense to the thread starter. shit i would have no clue where to start. not only that you would have to cut into the hatch or the rear bumper and that would be even harder to do.
