My first Hiro kit in the books! It was a great change of pace even though white metal cleanup became boring.... The rear clip could have fit better as well for a 300.00 kit... :(
Out of box build with added wiring for the battery, ignition, and a scratch built fire bottle on the pass floor. BMW Hellrot red followed by 2 part dupont clear. Built to replicate a freshly restored example of the #86 car driven by Randy peterson and Tim Schecken .

I like it very match.
One of the bests here, I think.
Excellent work.
A Ferrari with legendary 's Ronnie Peterson name, in her sides, it's a masterpiece!

That's a very good build of a beautiful car!
If you haven't seen the Ronnie Peterson museum (http://www.ronniepetersonmuseum.se/index_eng.html) take a look. For the moment there is a model car exibition with some great builds of a friend of mine on display, amongst others.
Thank you for sharing.

Very beautiful build with great paint finish and nice details.
It's a pity that it's fit isn't perfect.

Tell me about it.... I noticed after paint that the rear clip was not cooperating.. :( but it will spend most of its life off displaying the work on the engine and trans... :)
Thanks guys...

I totally agree, nevertheless a tremendous job, and I guess, the model will shown "open" most of the time, so the fit of the rear won´t be such a big problem

Yeah, too bad about the cowling, but since it will be off most of the time...
I would also get rid of that mold seam on rear tires.
Terrific job on your first Hiro Dave, it looks fantastic.
