trying to remove the back seat to replace the factory speakers. Can anyone help with this. I have the upper part of the seat "unhooked" nearest the doors but the middle doesn't want to come loose?

Treba , do you have the seat cushion ( bottom part of seat ) removed ? If not do so . I will give you the instructions on removal of seat back per my Chiltons manual . " Remove the anchor nuts securing the rear seat retainer at the bottom of the seat back .Grasp the bottom of the seat back and swing upward to disengage the offsets on the upper frame bar from the hangers . Lift the seat back upwards to remove from the vehicle " . The manual does have some picture illustrations if you need them . If so , I'll need your email address to send them . Good luck !

The Chiltons doesn't sound right if he is having an issue removing the bottom seat cushion which has to be done before removing the upper seat cushion. On the bottom seat cushion at the bottom along where the carpet is are two pull straps. You have to carefully look and feel for them. Tug on those and it will release the bottom seat cushion from the anchors.
