This is my progress so far. All i have left to do it touch up the interior a bit, touch up the body, wait for the arrival of my new windshield from Integra818 (thank you so much!) and put some CF decals on the hood. The hood fitment is a little off, due to the heat that the dremel creates when cutting, but overall it looks fine. I finally got a decent paint job with some more effort and time. Mods so far are: lowered, new seats, B18 engine, and (soon to be) CF hood. I did not intend ot replicate the Spoon Civic, so i don't want posts saying "Spoon's Civic isn't Gunmetal!" Enjoy. I'll update A.S.A. it is done.

Its not bad at all. I would say though that its not a good idea to use a dremel to cut away bonnets, doors etc. What you could have done is to replace the plastic u cut away with strips of thin styrene glued to the sides of the bonnet, then trim and sand them to fit.

The engine certainly makes the model alot more interesting but it's obviously too small, you could have used styrene again to bridge any gaps.

good job though;)

I tried the razor teqhnique, but I couldn't get around the tight turns of the front of the bonnet, so I busted out the Dremel. Thanks for the tips. BTW, are your CF decal sheers bigger than SMS? I know the price difference is a lot, and you can get 3 of yours for the price of 1 SMS, but I may end up ordering from them to get them faster and avoid oversea shipping costs. Thanks for the tips too.

It is possible with a knife blade, just take a look at all my stuff, all the bumpers, sides etc are removed by scribing. You just need to take it easy;)

I think my decals are roughly the same size. You can't get 3 of mine for on SMS, mine are in £££'s not $$$'s.

Looks great, the only thing I did'nt like was the scale differences which was'nt your fault. The valve cover looks smaller than it';s supposed to be but it's ok, you did a great job and it looks great! :D

Whoa, hold on buddy, I told you about at least 3 or 4 times it's a rear windshield for a 92-95 EG body, I've mentined it many times just to make sure you're not getting it confused. The rear windshield I have is NOT for this body :(

I'm not getting mad or anything like that but I want to clear it up. I didn't kow you were building and E.K body which is 96-00 (correct me if I'm wrong).

I guess you have to build a custom rear windshield out of clear plastic, but look at the bright side, it'll look like it's lexan and it'll be crazy!:bloated:

If you've sent the rims already, I'll pay yo the money you want for it.

Not bad, I like the color. You should polish the paint and blast it with some Tamiya gloss coat for an awesome finish IMO, I think that would set off the final product.

Haha, yeah its that time of month if you know what i mean. Err...you probably don't know what i mean, but its the "windshield cracking" time of the month. Thats two in 3 weeks! A new record.

MeanB16, it is clearcoated, and compounded, and waxed. Maybe becuase there is nothing reflecting off of it?
