1998 Rodeo Started Problems

i have a 1998 rodeo and when its cold the starter just clicks. then with turning the key on and off the engine finally turns over. Has anyone had this same problem. i think its a bad starter solenoid but just thought i would ask to see what everyone else thinks. Thanks

Check your connections and battery condition first, but it is very likely bad solenoid contacts in the starter. They can be replaced without replacing the starter at a fraction of the cost of a new starter.
