gas tank blues

ok heres the deal, Last night i was driving my car and after bout 15 20 minutes it started chuggin before i hit 2000 rpm, then it was fine, this was at evry gear. so im like it must be the feul filter. so i rip it out and its like full of rust. now the rubber fill tube which u fill the tank up with, inside that is there a metal tube which leads the gas nozzle into the tank?? cause if there is its rusted to crap and its all going into my tank. Has this happened to anyone and will i have to rip the tank off and clean it out.:confused: :(

its cuz u abuse ur car hehe;) nah j/p, maybe the sugar a put in ur tank screwed the metal tube and ... oh wait... i've said too much ;) hehe
i suggest cleaning the tank and checkin the filler neck to see if its rotted or not. i've heard the tanks on our cars seem 2 rust out, it sux
