Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have a 2001 Aurora with drivers side seat not heating. When the button is pushed the light comes on and I can hear the relay under the seat click. However it goes immediately off. I have disconnected the connector that looks like it goes to the heating element and taken resistance readings between what appears to be two sets of wires. On the passenger side which is working, I read 3.1 ohms on one set and 13.48 K ohms on the other. When I read the connector on the drivers side I get the 13.48 K ohms but the other set reads open. Does anyone know what I need to replace and where it is available. Also any tips on under seat access woulkd be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem, I'm just too lazy to fix it at the moment. I have a GM heated seat replacement guide that I could email you if you'd like. If you want it send me a PM with your email address.

I could be wrong on this, but from all I've been experiencing with my door, I'm pretty confident on this. Check the wires in the door jam. Pull back the rubber boot and see if the wires are breaking. I'm having problems with my window, my lumbar support, and my seat adjustment. Apparently it's a common problem, but I wouldn't be too worried about the heated seat. Once the windows stop working, that's when you got some serious issues (I'll fail inspection if I don't get it fixed).

Your Aurora sounds slightly different than mine. I have the heated seat switch mounted in the console between the seats near the gear shifter. Also, the seat controls are mounted on the side of the seat.

My bad, sorry bout that, I have a 1998. Didn't realize the controls were on the center console. Sorry for the mix up... I did preface it with a "I could be wrong..." ;-)
