Curious...:eek7:
i have a 2004 Sunfire, its an automatic and i'm interested in dropping in the 5.3l LS4. i dont imagine its been done yet, if it has though i would love to know what it took to do it/if anyone thinks its possible or even a good idea. id love the v8 but could obviously settle for the supercharged v6 gtp.
thanks

If you feel like running a stand alone EMU, and somehow over riding the theft lock through the BCM which controls all the functions other than power train.
One has has done a Northstar V8 in his car with a lot of custom fab. Others have done the 3800 S/c with custom subframes...
Its a lot of work, and by no means easy, and a wiring nightmare.

Hey, if you're comfortable with extensive fabrication and custom wiring, go for it. But it will be extremely difficult.

Yes it can be done, but you would save a lot of time and money if you just bought a Grand prix gtp or a gtx.Save you sunfire for a daily driver and mod the gtp.You will get more for you money that way.Thats just my opinion. If your looking for a little more from your sunfire get some minor bolt on parts for it.
