Guys it's been a while since I posted anything. I am in the market for drilled and /or slotted rotors for front and rear for my 96 Max. Any suggesstions? I have been reading that slotted rotors are bad and gives you less stopping power. Less surface are less stopping power. Some onthe forum say you need to upgrade the caliper which I don't want to. Too expensive? I don't race my max so no need for additional speed or stopping power. I have heard that Brembo rotors are the best but I don't like the color. There are a gold, rust color. I am looking for silver drilled rotors. Help pleeeeeeeease. Looking for this in less than a month.

Well. Brembo does not come in one color only. Check Chestons maxima out. He has oversized brembo rotors and they are silver. But oversized rotors are WAY too expensive unless u have 1,500 to 2000 bucks in ur pocket and willing to pay that much for those rotors. But yes brembo is the best company that makes rotors for maximas.

We(my girl and I) just got the Brembo "slotted" rotors for the 99' Max, and they work great! Also would recommend getting metallic brake pads at the same time...works best! Calipers are definitely not needed!

Actually, the slotted rotors are more recommended than the cross drilled since the cross drilled tend to crack after a while! I even got the Powerslots on my Eclipse and they work great! Just my .02cts! ;)

If u r going for same size rotors as ur stock ones, then yes those cross drilled do tend to brake. IF u r going for oversized brembo cross drilled rotors they wont brake.

Yes .....SOL. There are really cool Altezza tail lamps but only made for the 97-99. I HATE that. Why the #(*&(*& do manufacturers not make a product for all models. This pisses me off. I have a car I like but no accessories for it. e.g. headlight conversion kits that you will find for every civic, integra, or supra you wont find for a Max. Is it that "we're not worthy"? Well..... I say we are (*#^(*^$ing worthy and willing to spend the money.
Anyone know of any cool head light conversion kits besides the the HID kit? (new type lens etc)

For all your knowledge I did NOT buy those taillights. I cleared them out myself. Altho I didnt make the clear inserts myself, BUT YOU CAN (you have to have a really really sharp knife for that) Some guy on maxima.org was selling 6 pairs of those clear inserts and I bought a pair for 15 bucks. That was around 3-4 months ago. Its really easy to do. Check on maximadriver.com in HOW2 section. I took tools and directions from there. Have fun. And yes I am a lucky fuck as paonessa refered to me. hehehe. What can I say Im am maxima obsessed and very proud of my maxxie.:D

even so, the 95/96 lights are different we couldn't even make our like that.

The only difference is that 95/96 tails dont contain 2 pieces of plastic, meaning that that taillight is a solid piece. But you can buy them, or do a whole rear end convertion to 97-99 model rear end.
