Increasing displacement. How To!

Ok this is a lesson for all of you on how to increase the displacement on your engine---->take miracle grow and add lots of water-boring or stroking the engine is for amateurs.

The following is a pic of me watering my engine. Hopefully by the same time next year it will grow into a big strong 426 Hemi.:D

Please notice the state of the art intake wrapping system born from brilliant engineering collaboration - saran wrap was polygon's idea Ziploc bag was mine.

you know what would be something interesting to see. to try starting the car with that saran wrap wraped around the intake. but be sure to make it air tight. i would love to see a video of that. :D

You gotta grow a couple more cylinders first before it turns into a big block :p

Way ahead of you Neutrino!!

I've been using Miracle grow for a long time...

My 383 used to actually be a Geo 3 cylinder 1 liter wussy... But with lots of love and care it grew up into the big boy it is now... Horahh for Miracle Grow.

Oh... It helps if the motor isnt in the car... same theory as with fish in a small pond/tank. They'll only grow to the size of its own enviroment. So, In theory on a engine stand it'll grow and grow and grow. :D

See, down below the motor... Miracle Grow!

It's a great way to cheaply increase your cars potiential!

Wouldn't it be nice if you walked out into your garage and found your engine was now a stage 15 Keith Black hemi engine.

crap i though i was the only one to think of it:(
but you might be right i should take it ouside from time to time from the engine bay--it might help it grow even bigger----who know maybe even a 528 hemi

well it is already starting to grow two more cylinders.

poly and I were thinking what would happen if i were to started with the wrap on.;)

try some Garrett seeds and lots of water. Just make sure there won't be any vortec or jakson racing weeds poping out cuz those supercharges get all over the place.;)

ive got some turbo miracle grow at work if you need to borrow some..?works wonders for twin, be careful tho, if there isnt room in the engine compartment you'll have problems ungrafting the hood and turbos

Now that is some creative engineering :)

You know what else helps guys? FERTILIZER!!!! I hear human fertilizer works best.......

Did you keep the engine running while you sprayed water??

I used fertilizer and now my V6 just keeps getting bigger, no extra cylinders or anything

see the problem is that you have a truck so instead of growing more cylinders you just increase dispalcement and torque.

also another common mistake is that some people use truck fertiliser wich eventually makes the engine grow but witout new cilinders. Evetually it will become a diesel engine with plenty of torque but lot so much Hp.

if you want speed from your truck you need to use the sports car fertiliser wich helps to grow displacement and new cilinders.

BTW i have a question posted on engeneriend technical and i would apreciate your guys opinion

As for starting the car with our engineering marvel on we cam eto two conclusions:

A. The car just wouldn't start.

B. The intake would suck the saran wrap and ziplock bag in. I thought there was a hole at the end of the cone filter, so. . . .

How do you guys think I got that T3 in the GTC???? Like it came from the factory like that, really???

Well. . . . . . actually . . . . . it did.
