very odd trans. repair needed

i found my trans leak. its one of the trans cooler fittings, its stripped. not the fitting but where its threads into the trans, in short: the threads in the trans for the trans cooler fitting is stripped,only 1 of the 2 though. i very librealy applied J B weld the the threads of the fitting and around it . its slowed the leak very dramaticly. but it still leaks about a quart every 3 days. any one have any ideas about a "cost-effective" repair for this?
