What's up guys! So I want to surprise my wife with a new 4runner (my wallet's gonna take the heat on this one!) for the 10th anniversary comin up, but I'm not sure about which dealer to go to. We moved to Los Angeles about 6 months ago so I'm not very familiar with the area still.

A colleague told me she heard good things about Hollywood Toyota, that they were fair priced and hooked it up with good warranties.. http://www.hollywoodtoyota.com/ Can anyone let me know what they think or if they have some advice/experience with these guys?

I'm also looking into Valley Toyota http://www.valley-toyota.com/ and Toyota Escondido ( here is its website: http://www.toyotaescondido.com/ ) too as they arent TOO far from us here..

Any tips on these places or what to look for when I go would be aWESOME! Never had a Toyota before-Im lookin forward to it!

Thanks!

Welcome to AF Hot Rodder!

For the future, please try to give a brief description of your question in the title, such as: "Any good Toyota dealers in So Cal?" or the like. This helps everyone sift through and see what they can answer without having to open up each thread. We have members from all around the world, so the easier you can catch someone's eye, the faster your question gets answered.

I'm sure there are many sites/blogs/webpages that would have info on dealers in your area. I'd first try the BBB, but that tends to only warn off against smaller upstart businesses. I'd then ask around the repair shops, because sometimes they have to buy their replacement parts from the dealer. Finally...just Google them. Try the dealer name and "service" "customer satisfaction" or the like and see what pops up. If you see something disturbing and you end up trying that dealer anyways, you can call them on it and listen how they handle it.

Good luck...I'm sure she'll enjoy the new ride!

Thanks so much man for all the advice! Next time I'll be sure to be more specific. I'm still kinda new at this internet stuff, never was very good at it..
Anyway, I'm lookin forward to getting all these papers signed and everything said and done.
Do you have any thoughts on extended warranties? Should I do it or is Toyota pretty liable? Hollywood Toyota (http://www.hollywoodtoyota.com) has a lottt of warranty options, and I'm gettin a bit flustered.
