I wanted the ask the pros about there opinion on the best "bang for your buck" rotors and pads. Is there any places/companies to stay away from?

I started using Napa Adaptive One brake pads a little over a year ago and am very satisfied with them. They cost a bit more but I think they are worth it. My vehicles are used for different purposes and these brake pads 'adapt" to each driving condition. I have heard many good reviews over the past year from both customers and associates on these pads. I waited to get these and did research on other brands before purchasing them and I'm glad I did.

Sorry Tom minivans or low performance vehicles don't count. :uhoh:......
This is what I use and for the cost, the best bang for the buck, reasonable wear and the best stopping power especially for GTPs.
The Raybestos Advanced Technology rotors with Performance Friction Carbon Metallic disc pads. Also, whats nice about the Raybestos AT rotors is they have a special black protective coating to protect against premature rust. The only problem is the carbon metallic pads give off a little brake dust versus ceramic but the stopping power is superior which I can live with.
The rotors cost around $55.00 each for front and about $50 for the front disc pads. Rears are cheaper.
