Raybestos Wheel Hubs

Hi everyone, I've been getting a ABS TRAC-OFF light for the last week. I finally had it scanned at a local brake shop this morning and it's the right front speed sensor, which I suspected. They are using the Raybestos wheel hubs and claim that they've had good results in using them. Total cost, parts and labor is $230.00 installed. My question: Is the Raybestos wheel hub a quality hub and does anybody have an opinion on this brand? I would prefer a Timken or OEM . When I do purchase the Timken, I want the real brand name part and not some off-shoot product if I worded that correctly. TIA

raybestos makes good brake products.
I used BCA brand on my car, it came with a warrenty. Ask them what type of warrenty the raybestos one comes with.
230.00 seems pretty low. since a quality hub runs about 130-150.00.
I don't know. your call.

Used to make good products?
Since taken over by the Affinia Auto Group most of their stuff is made in China or other places in the world.
I would stay with the AC Delco hub. It comes with a new axle nut and the 3 hub to steering knuckle bolts. Around $180.00 plus shipping. Let me know if you need the parts source.

AC/Delco it is. A friend of the family has a heated garage so we'll install it when it arrives. Thanks again.

$230.00 ?? what a bargain. The dealer wanted $480 to do mine.

Yea, that's the point Tblake stated. We get what we pay for. Although $480.00 is on the high side....

I'm no great mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, but a friend and I did both of mine with AC Delcos one evening and it was about $315, not counting the price of his race ticket.
