Measuring Wheel scale sizes

I just found what i think, looks like a thing to measure scale size parts.. but i do'nt know WHAT scale it is set too!, I checked the "Scale Wheel" thread, and I think i have the tool, just like the one, TAsdev used to measure the rim sizes, but mine isn't electronic......
Any suggestions, Ill get pictures up later tonight... but i hope this is the right thing

I think what you are referring to is a vernier calliper, they are not set to a scale, they are made to measure 1:1 things, if something says it is 17 scale inches in 1/24 scale. divide 17" by 24 and that should be the size you measure.

That's really good Steve. I'm sure i recall tha Fujimi 17"s were true to scale though and from then on everything else seems to be 'inched-up'. Maybe i was wrong?

Yes, that's a vernier caliper. They are extremely useful, i use mine all the time, particularly when getting things sixed equally on bodykits.
