Didn't someone mention in this forum that the UN wanted Saddam to disarm?

Some argue that had Iraq followed this resolution, war would have been prevented. I like to think otherwise:rolleyes:

I like to think president Bush, being the president, is the most qualified person to run this country, but some say otherwise.

Count me among those that say otherwise.Last I heard, there was no internationally recognised tertiary qualification in How To Be A Head Of State.Being in charge doesn't automatically mean that you make the best decisions.Sure, you have access to a lot more information to make your decision, but if you choose to ignore the parts of it that don't fit your ideas, then that information becomes worthless.

I'm sorry, I was just making the point that just because he is the cheif UN weapons inspector doesn't mean he has the best judgement of Saddam's following of 1441. Similar to how people say that just because Bush is the president of the USA, doesn't mean he has the best judgement about what to do with the country. Basically, titles are irrelevant, but, in most cases, this isn't true.
