Hello everyone new to the forum and have owned 2 Buick Century in the last 26 years first one lasted 15 years no problems , gave it to my grandson and got my 97 after 167000 miles the haft shaft seals started leaking on the tranny and had it rebuilt now is where my problem started , had no problems with anything the car has ran like a top ,but when picking up my car the rebuilder said lights would not turn off and battery ran down could not get them to turn off so he put a quick charge on the battery and started the car the odometer showed error on display and PRND12 would not light up , drove car home and it started running hot the radiator fans do not function either even when I lower the temp and ac comes on.
After getting it home 1 checked all the wiring to the transmission and had the battery checked to make sure it was good , everything appears in good shape , removed the battery leads and reinstalled now just 1and 2 on the select shift show up and the odometer error is gone but only 2 digits show up on odometer 00 took it out for a drive and goes up 01 02 03 etc. until it reaches 09 and starts over has anyone got a clue what is going on the auto lights will not shut off either so have to disconnect the battery , its just odd all this has transpired after getting the tranny rebuilt all was working when I left it with them .............

i would take it back and make them fix it and if they say no tell them you will see them in court or take it somewhere else and see what they done wrong to me sounds like they never hook someting up so they can get more money out of you but try to tell them to fix it first and see what they say.good luck.
