Anyone know what this could be. My car didnt used to do it every time, but now it does it all the time, and im kind of worried about it. It feels like its coming from the axle area.

it might be your cv joint that is going bad. Turn the wheel all the way to the left and then go under the car and feel the boot for any rips or cuts

it's the cv joint. dose that once it's bad. you will prolly need to replace the axle too.

its your axle, 5 bucks sais you have a tear in your driver side cv boot and dirt has gotten inside of it cause it to click when you turn...exact same thing is happening to me, I picked up a new driver side half shaft (axle) for $160 but I get $70 when I return my old axle. In the US im guessing itll be around $100 for oyu to fix.

look on what will appear to be the "axle" coming from the transmission to the wheel hub. It will be a shaft with a boot on each end where it connects that is similar to the shift boot of an STD civic. (not the pleather shift boot, the actual shift boot thats on the floor of the car)

yeah man, sounds like a CV, the acclaim does that when I make right-hand turns. gonna run me $50 to replace (rebuilt) if you do buy a new one DONT GO TO NAPA I had one go in my van, bought a brand new one there, installed it, before it logged 10 miles it shattered and they wouldn't give me my money back. ran me $99 at AutoZone to get that new one. I just lucked out that we have a place that sells good rebuilt CV Joints.

hey Melt it may still be your CV shaft even if the boot is not torn. I had one on the pass. side that was not torn and it made noise. I pulled it apart and there was alot on metal shavings inside.
