what is an engine head and an engine bottom-end? what are the parts of each. im kinda getting confused.

the head has the valves, cams, rocker arms, cam gear
the bottom end has the pistons, rods, crank
well thats not the complete list of everything but thats the basic importnant parts

Sorry to be so harsh man, but get a fucking book and read it. How about the helms manual? Start there.

A Haynes Repair Manual is a good start for the mechanics of a motor, and they make em for all kinds of cars. You can find one at usually any auto parts store (Discount, Advance, etc) But theres alot of readin, so you better get started.
