Hello, Im new here.

I have a 79 GMC Jimmy with 350/350turbo NP203 drive train. I recently replaced the HEI distributor with a rebuilt stock GM distributer. I also replace the cap, rotor, ignition coil, and Ignition Control Module. So everything ran well, but there is a clicking noise comming from the ignition coil. when I removed the coil cap, I could see an arc from one of the wires to the coil and the coil itself. Has anybody had this probelm, and what can be done to fix it.
