Lowering my Civic

I want to lower my car a liitle but I don't want to spend too much money. I also don't want to change many parts. I was at Autozone the other day and saw these coil spring clamp like things. You put them on your spring and tighten them and it compresses the spring and lowers the car. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, can you tell me if these are a good idea, and is it safe? Thanks

Do not do this.

Look up Eibach Sportlines.

Thanks. That was what I wanted to know. I'll look into the Eibach's.
