4x4 problem

:banghead: Went to use the 4x4. pushed the button lights came on next to the button and on the dash. drove for 10 minutes light went off. If I tap the the 4x4 button the lights will come on and off.I hear clicking on passenger side.Replaced the transfer motor last year. Could it be a bad switch?

does the selector motor switch or click

The click I hear comes from the passenger side behind the kick pannel . The transfer motor itself has a slight click(noise) coming from it when I switch to 4x4.

then i would say that the switch is fine i would look under that kick panel and check out the transfer controller i don't remember the name of it .

I already checked the controller under the kick panel. pushed the white button the light stays on. Is that good or bad. Thats where the clicking comes from.
