need help asap..AGAIN !!!

Hello , ive posted 3 problems in 2 weeks and ive got good advice from the members here THANKS !! i bought this 96 3 weeks ago and its really irretating now..i just got back from monro brake , they replaced a couple exhust gaskets becuse it was loud and on the way home the check air suspention light comes on then as i pull in my drive way my dashlights go dim then go out . now the car wont start...i noticed since i got the car when i push the gas the lights get brighter and the heater is louder..what do you think , bad alternator and its also not charging the battery...

Check the bat, it might not be holding a charge. The alt. is easy to remove, most auto parts stores will test them as well as the bat. The air suspension is a typical problem with these cars. Is the rear end sagging ?

i think the suspention just reset and tottaly drained the battery becuse the mechanic turned of the switch when he worked on it last night..i went back this morning and got a battery then went back and they tested the alt. and said it is bad...i called the dealer becuse it under ny state warrenty and it sounds like he will take care of it

Sounds good if the dealer will fix it for you. That's good that they turned the switch of on the air sus. That is the procedure, I often forget that myself when working on one. Never had a problem although.

This cold weather has zapped the life out of a lot of battery's. It killed the battery in my van, I've been havening to jump starting it if I let it sit for more than a day. Bought a new battery 1000 cold cranking amps, duel posts, a 3 year free replacement with pro rated warranty after that. Set me back 91 bucks, but hopefully it will last me a while. I haven't installed it in my van yet, been using on everything else around here. I could use another one for the van.
