E36 3'er and a Pair of AE86's

These three were prior builds that I redid. The E36 is made to resemble my E36 325i that got totaled in an accident 9 years ago..The yellow AE86 has the same paintjob but i redid the window gaskets, rear tailights, added front lip and wide BBS RS's. The orange AE86 used to be gunmetal gray. First i laid on bright gold as the base, then tamiya mica red. I didnt know how it would turn out but i loved the results...

Great models, style is congruent with my tastes,
so of course nothing but the highest marks from me.

The yellow levin- I'll probably emulate that one.:naughty:

Any chance of some pics of the white car with the red design on the hood?
Curiosity piqued.

And finally, only thing I could suggest is taking 10 seconds to place
the models on a big sheet of white poster board, to nullify background distractions.

The again, I'm so pleased by these builds, it really doesn't matter. :sunglasse

The white car is a dragon E36 touring car that I made into a street car. It sits on BBS LM's with a low drop and lots of camber.

My 1/24 photo skills do need work...I can take pics of the real ones, but kinda stink on the small ones...Need to make like a little photo booth like you said.

thanks man...LOL, i do spend time on making them sit like that. a cut here, melt here, a little krazy glue....

the black car is an R33 Skyline 2.5GT. Its an old build, 19 inch touring car wheels from a tamiya kit.

Thanks! I've been trying to do panel lines, but i honestly still kinda suck...when i finally get it, I'll redo all of the cars again and add them.:smile:

Easiest approach if you sprayed them with laquer. Use thinned enamel paint on a brush and just go all the way around the panel line. Brush off the excess paint with a cutetip with a little thinner on it. Plus the line doesn't look as big, like done with a marker. Try it out on some of your builds, you'll never go back!!

the rims were off a Tamiya JTCC Accord kit. still working on slammin it more...the wheels kinda look like 20's on there right now!

MidMazar: I will try em out on the two BMW's soon...Hopefully it turns out alright!
