hey guys.. I've been reading this forum for awhile now.. now I need to pick your brains... K, I've got a 90 3.1 with the vin letter T. my problem that I'm having is cylinders 3 - 5 are not firing causing fouled plugs and the gas thats going though to get into the oil, I've since replaced my 02 sensor, spark plugs (twice), plug wires and done an oil change. obviously the none of this is the problem cause it's still not firing on those 2 cylinders I dont think the coil packs are the problem.. could it be the ICM? I'm stumped, bear in mind the car hasnt had much if any motor work done to it, I do understand that this is most likely age related since the car has 275k plus

Not who you requested, but I will jump in here and suggest based on your supplied symptoms sounds like the injectors are bad. Second thought, not firing meaning no spark to the plugs, or no power at these cylinders.

As max asked, are you saying you have no spark on these cylinders? If so, I'd say it's an ICM as they are on different coil packs. If you are getting spark, then I agree with him that you've got a couple bad injectors.

yes, there's no spark... you can tell by the way the plugs look. that and Ive already pulled them one at a time and checked for spark.. no spark... any thoughts on what an ICM is gonna run me?

It can be tested by AZ and Napa, but not always accurate, they are expensive too.

Not so expensive if purchased w/o coils.
