Getting rid of a Stealth

Hello,

I've got a '93 Stealth that I'm getting ready to sell but I've got a few questions for you folks. First of all, is it something that I can advertise here? I'm not super familar with this forum and I haven't found a specific area to list it. My second questions, how hard are these to sell with a descent price tag? Is there a big following/demand for Stealths or are they like most every other car on the road? And my last question, how much have Stealths been selling for recently? The one I have is an RR/TT with roughly 98,000 miles.

Any help that you offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

I would say you could get around $7-9k for it if it is in good condition and has had the 60k, etc taken care of on it. Depends on the buyer as well. I would say likely you'll get around $7k for it if it's not just torn up.

And yes, you can sell your car on here. Good luck with the sale.

PS: Pics?

Thanks for the quick response. I'm selling the car for my mother inlaw. The car belonged to my father inlaw and he passed away last month so I don't have a whole lot of info on it as far as maintenence history, etc. but knowing him, he stayed on top of everything that was recommended for the car. I replaced the oil lines running to the external cooler last summer so I know that's been done. There's only a few issues with the car right now. First it needs a rear windshield wiper motor, tires, and the a/c needs to be recharged and that's about it. It's a pretty clean car that was hardly ever driven because it was getting too tough for my father in law to get in and out of it. I don't have any pictures to post yet but next time that I'm over there I'll snap a few and post them.

Thanks again,
Mike

Price depends on the color of the car. If it's green, don't bet on getting much for it. We sold a 92 stealth TT for $6500 with only 70k miles on it. Any other color will fetch a decent amount.

...whats wrong with green...:frown:

I love the Panama/Emerald green...it really grew on me. You just dont see green cars anymore, so it's unique too.

BTW you should post it for sale on 3si.org too. In the regional section and cars for sale section.

nothing is wrong with green, when it's clean, it looks AMAZING... however, the general populous does not like green, and will not pay a premium price for it :(
