My gf's sister was driving her 4th gen sedan last week and it just died on her and wouldn't start again. From what she described I would say that it's not getting fuel. It turns over but it just won't quite start. She said it acts like it's out of gas but there's gas in it. Any ideas? I was thinking shot fuel filter, where exactly is the fuel filter on these cars?

I think Cjz89civic is right, it does sound like the timing belt.

That happened in my ex's ford escort. We were driving along and it seemed like the car just stalled out. We tried to get it started and it would turn over but nothing happened. That was nice and expensive to get replaced.

(Dont even get me started on her car, every time we would get some money saved up in the bank it the bastard would break down.) :)

http://www.quickhonda.net/index2.htm

in the links on the left click "garage" and then "service manual"......you can download the Helm's free (approx. $150 service manual)

kicker...it's on the firewall. the easiest way for her to find it is to follow the fuelrail back to the firewall :)
