1994 Geo Prism - automatic **HELP**

Hello,
I have a 1994 Geo Prism - automatic. When I put the car in
either drive or reverse it will try to pull but only go about 1 foot
then make a loud clunking noise and will not go any further. Can
you please tell me if this sounds like CV Joint, axle or transmission
and how to diagnosis which it most likely is. Thank you for your
help!!!

Does the engine stay running? When you give it gas after the "clunk" what happens?

check the right front hub as if it is broken the car won't move very far if it will move at all.if you don't have a manual to guide you thru getting to the hub . get one at autozone or o'riellys or another parts store ,it will make it alot easier to work on it..
