How many miles on engine?

When was the last time plugs, wires , rotor, and distributor cap were changed? AC Delco replacements are recommended.

106000 miles I changed the plugs, wires, rotor and cap about 5000 miles ago, would an ignition module couse that problem?

Is it a constant miss? Have you tried finding out which clyinder is missing by pulling wires of plugs one at a time? Have you looked at distributor cap for any telltale signs? What brand cap, rotor, and plugs did you use?

The miss is not consistant it may run a couple days with no miss. The parts are from napa not sure what brand they are now

I changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor and coil seems to have fixed the problem. i didnt see any tell tell signs of the problem and with only about 5000 miles on the tuneup im kind of surprised that was the problem.
