Any one have this S13?

I plan on making it into this car (http://www.superstreetonline.com/featuredvehicles/49498/index.html) i jsut need to know if this kitt is a good kit!

its a well put together kit ....if and only IF u get the tamiya one....its a good kit to build and the result is stuning if dont right....so whatever u choose ....DO IT JUSTICE PLZ

alright Joey, here's the deal. if you do this car, you must promise me you will NOT rice it up. this is a DRIFT/JDM car, not a rice machine. you MUST NOT put Altezza's or clear tail lights on it. you MUST NOT put decals from any rice companys on it. you MUST NOT use a massivley oversized exhaust. you MUST NOT create a wildy flamboyant and ugly body kit for it. if you do this kit, do it right or don't do it at all. take for example your 300ZX. that's a beautiful performance machine, built to go fast. what did you do to yours? well let's see...huge body kit, check. clear tail-lights, check. cut off hatch, check. audio system, check. it looks fine for what you intended it to be, but that car and the S13 were NOT made to be turned into show cars. they were made to be driven, so PLEASE, for the love of god, don't rice this one up, ok?

I agree. I've never seen a ricer S13, let's keep it that way. I'm curently working on a Tamiya S13 and it's a great kit so far, I intend to keep the body stock with a modest size exaust, some 18's and maybe a drop. This car looks best when it's been slightly modified I.M.O. If you do this car, at least do it the way it was meant to look like, you would'nt build a pink Ferarri now would you??? Either way... I don't care, it's your car after all.

rice companies (in my opinion anyways) are the companies that make all the fart cans, ugly body kits, ugly wheels, NOS kits, crappy aluminum wings etc. for Honda's. a couple of examples would be APC, Black Widow, Erebuni, Wings West etc.

bah_humbug - the car that used to be in my sig was a Nissan Laurel C33. still an awesome, fast car, but not an S13. hehe.

Yes. The rims is a Meister S1 by aoshima, but too bad...the rim too small. Although on the real car, they did used a 17in.:rolleyes:

Its his kit. Everyone has there own opinions on what looks good/doesn't look good. That doesn't mean he has to make it to your preferences, just because you don't like his style. I am not trying to start a fight or anything here, I am just letting you all know that we all build models because its our ways of being creative.

get an R32 Skyline and drop that engine into it.
