I have a 2000 Blazer 2WD and I tested the fuel pressure and it has 59psi and does have spark. No DTC codes stored in computer. Did replace crankshaft sensor.
It does turn over great, just will not start.
The last owner said when they were going down the road, it just died and thats it. Has not ran since. Any ideas? Would be great. Thank you very much.

Maintman, do a quick check of fuel pressure and check for leakdown. I had the trouble as you spoke of, and it wound up being my fuel pump.
Fuel pressures should be in the upper 60's, and when you shut off the ignition, it should hold for a long time. That Vortec engine REQUIRES that high fuel pressure to fire the injectors. The injectors are VERY picky. My fuel pressure was in the low 50's, and when I shut off the key the pressure dropped like a rock. That was the key that my pump was going bad.
Once I replaced the pump, the truck started immediately. The computer doesn't throw codes because it doesn't check fuel pressure. If you had an injector issue, the computer normally would throw codes.
Just for shts and giggles, did you pull a spark plug and smell it? I bet you're not smelling gas...
As always, don't forget about the fuel filter. I started with the fuel filter, then went on to the pump. A bad filter won't cause leakdown, but it is possible that it could drop pressures........
Good luck and let us know what happens.

MT-2500 explains fuel pressure testing procedure:

Need 60-66 for injectors to squirt.
Could be fuel pump or pressure regulator.

Did pressure test and topped out at 60psi and dropped to 50psi with in 30 min. Guess I will get a new fuel pump and filter. Thanks
