95 Grand am steering sticking

Symptoms: while driving the steering wants to stick (not return to center) after a right hand turn. The only way to stop it from pulling right is to stop and turn it to left then it is fine until another hard right. It does not feel like the tierods are catching on any thing. I have had the car in the air, on turn plates and can't see any binding or such. So far I have replace the following warn out parts, struts, top strut mounts, steering rack, RF ball joint and it has been aligned. The Lf balljoint, outer/inner tierods are all fine. It seems to have a normal amount of power assist. I have pulled the tie rods and verified both wheels turn with relative ease. At the same time turned the wheel from lock to lock several times and moves freely.

I am at a complete loss. If the pump or a hose was bad it wouldn't care which way I turn. Any thoughts??????? All thoughts are appreciated.

yeah, ball joints and tie rods should be replaced in pairs.

Have you checked the lower control arm bushings ??

no I have not checked the control arm bushings. are you thinking they are sloppy cross car?

Well I've seen many of these models which had bad control arm bushings. Usualy from rough pavement and off roading. lol

But with high mileage you can have them wear out.
Remember the car is 14yrs old.

Plus you've replaced about everything else.
Even that one old ball joint can make it steering funky.

If you get it up in the air on jack stands(or a lift) with the wheels hanging, use a pry bar to see if thiers any play in the LCAB.

And be carefull with it up in the air!!

I guess that makes some sense they would basically change the caster/camber just as a ball joint. I will replace the other ball at the same time it is on the lift. thanks again
