Headlight and horn won't shutoff

I just got 04 Mazda3 a few weeks ago. I just ran into a really strange problem. The horn used to act a little strange and stay on for a second or two when activated. Didn't think much of it, probably the horn relay sticking.
Anyway, just the other day the horn wouldn't stop after I slighlty tap it. I had to disconnect the horn. This is where it gets strange.
The headlights and dash brake light (parking brake light) will now not turn off unless I remove the horn relay OR press the horn. Yes, pressing the horn turns the headlights off. Horn honks continuosly regardless if its pressed or not.
Anyway I tried a different relay and no change. So I just removed the horn relay and everything is fine other than no horn.
Any thoughts?

Sounds like the multi-function switch under the steering wheel is toast. It's called multi-function cause it does just about everything in there.
The horn bit is kinda odd, makes me think Clockspring is the culprit.. either way, their both under the steering wheel.

Steven, If it is in fact the multi-function switch, doesn't that mean airbag removal? meaning $$$$ thx for the reply

That may or may not be entirely true, I'd have to look up the specifics on your year. Airbags in general can be handled safely if you follow the prescribed handling warnings.
I have the 05/06 FSM on my webpage, but I don't have any reference for your 2004.
There's some VERY active forums for 3's.. this one isn't. Try here (http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php) too.

Correct.. looks like I violated somebody's something. Have a look >> here (http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.php?topic=77517.0) << for more links for the time being. I'll work on fixing mine too.
EDIT:
Mine's fixed now too.
