check engine light on my zx2

hi ...i have a 1999 zx2 which i love but i been having problems with it lately..i had to have the catalyct converter changed, the o2 sensor bank 1, new wires, plugs, timing belt....but now it wont pass the emmisions test, and when it's in idle it feels like it wants to turn off..im going crazy here:confused: ...i dont want to get rid of it...i have had 2 ppl work on the car and they tell me different things...they just drying my bank account dry...uffff:banghead: can anybody tell me what might be going on?...thanks :) :1zhelp:
