1996 pontiac sunfire problems

I just bought the Sunfire about 6 weeks ago...is my little red baby that i love.Well,3 days ago,I went out to start it and it wouldn't Mechanic friend said the fuel pump might be bad(hoping not tho).My boss said that it might have a fuel pump reset button.Does anyone know about this? Thanks!!
